Interesting article in The Guardian pointing out the lead The (Care Quality Commission) CQC are taking in Care Home regulation and auditing, yet the challenges they face with implementing the process and the resources they use.

This is not a perfect process but is a step in the right direction and needs continuous improvement. Homes that do not reach the required standard should be named and given time to improve. If they do not they should be shut down as our senior citizens deserve better.
